    The Museum is located 19 km west of Grande Prairie in Wembley, Alberta, 111 km southeast of Dawson Creek and 13 km from the largest horned dinosaur bone-bed in the world – the home of Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai. The museum sits on Highway 43, the heavily-traveled tourist route to Alaska with 10,000 vehicles passing by everyday!

    The museum features extensive gallery spaces angled onto a unique set of beetle pine timber 7-beam nodal trusses, two classrooms, the 60-seat Aykroyd Family Theater, research and collections areas, the Dine-O-Saur restaurant, the Kaleidosaur gift shop, an outdoor discovery fossil walk and large outdoor playground
