Throwin’ fire under the Aurora. From the night the sky exploded…I had finished shooting a time lapse at my first location, was on my way to the second place I wanted to shoot at and lights in the sky started dancing again…I hit the brakes and set-up right in the middle of a not-oft travelled range road. The height of the Aurora at this spot and lack of any suitable foreground interest lent well to a steel wool spin, so it had to be done.

This is two images taken much less than a minute apart, I just needed time to switch the settings, edited in @lightroom and blended in @photoshop
