This small campground is located in beautiful Kakwa Wildland Park, about 160-km southwest of Grande Prairie. Tent at one of four, unserviced campsites and surround yourself in the beauty of this remote park. Here you’ll find tree-carpeted valleys, crystal-clear creeks, and rugged mountain ridges. The park is also home to Alberta’s tallest waterfall, Kakwa Falls, which is 30 metres high, and several smaller falls. UPDATE: Alberta Parks is continually monitoring operations to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
