Located atop Saskatoon Mountain, a Provincial Recreation Area situated 150 meters above the surrounding countryside; this day use area has spectacular panoramic views of the south and west portions of the County, the Rocky Mountains and the Kakwa wilderness.
Come and stay in this quiet campground with beautiful scenery. The hills are a unique geological formation much like the hoodoos of southern Alberta. The recreation park also doubles as a historic site with a museum located in the park.
The campground is comprised of 9 basic camping sites with no hookups. There is tap water available, washrooms with showers, wheelchair access, playground, concession booth, museum, and natural walking trails. Kleskun Hills Campground is also able to host group stays, but be sure to call and book ahead.
The Kleskun Hill Campground is open from mid May to mid October.
