It’s Throwback Thursday!

A new GPRTA feature that showcase’s photos of our Region’s history.

All photos are thanks to our partner, South Peace Regional Archives!

This week we’re throwing it back to 2001 when "Grande Prairie’s Millennium Sundial" located next to our offices in Centre 2000, was brand new!

A couple Fun Facts about the Sundial:
– It stands over 40 feet tall!
– There are 10 Time Capsules that surround the dial with the last one to be opened in the year 2050!
