‘resetting’ Leisure’s ‘Conversations with Magic Forms’ might just be our staff’s favorite part of mornings at the Gallery!
. ‘The Theory of Loose Parts’ developed by architect Simon Nicholson in 1972 inspired Leisure to create this interactive artwork. It’s the idea that loose parts, materials that can be tinkered with and moved around, create infinitely more opportunities for creative engagement than static materials.

Everyone is welcome to build and rebuild this interactive artwork, which is a part of our ‘Sonic Youth’ exhibition, ending on March 19th.
