Nitehawk Year-round Adventure Park

A beloved destination since 1960, Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park has grown from a small community ski hill into one of the Peace Country’s premier outdoor recreation hubs. Located just 10 minutes south of Grande Prairie, this non-profit adventure park attracts more than 40,000 winter visits each year and offers a full spectrum of activities for guests of all ages—including skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, mountain biking, trail running, hiking, and year-round RV camping. Nitehawk’s wilderness RV campground features 84 fully serviced campsites and an additional 12 overflow spots, making it a favourite basecamp for outdoor lovers throughout all seasons. Its scenic surroundings and welcoming atmosphere also make the Nitehawk Chalet a sought-after venue for weddings, corporate retreats, and family celebrations. As the Nitehawk team continues to rebuild after the 2020 landslide, they are thrilled to offer 80% of their skiable terrain once again. Winter operations include the Platter Lift, 100-foot and 600-foot Conveyor Lifts, and the new Summit T-Bar Lift—providing access to iconic runs like Easy Street, Middle Temptation, The Shoot, Slow Poke, Showoff, Willoway, Bob’s Bump, the Halfpipe, and the Terrain Park. The Aquatera Tube Zone, Toddler Tube Lane, and Adventure Zone Play Area also return for unforgettable family fun.
