South Peace Centennial Museum

The South Peace Centennial Museum offers an immersive journey through the region’s history, spread across 40 acres filled with heritage buildings, artifacts, and working farm equipment. Visitors can step inside an authentic grain elevator, marvel at classic cars, see a steam engine tractor up close, and wander through historic spaces like the cook car and Gaudin’s Store. Each building and display shares a story, connecting guests with the pioneering spirit that shaped the Peace Country. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy at the shaded tables near the children’s play area, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a full day of exploring. The museum truly comes to life during its signature events: Pioneer Days—complete with a pancake breakfast, steam-cooked corn, interactive demonstrations, and a beloved tractor parade—and the fall Harvest Festival, which celebrates pioneer skills and seasonal traditions. Operated entirely by dedicated volunteers, the museum welcomes visitors seven days a week from mid-May to early September.
