The Hythe Motor Speedway is a motorsports gem located in the Peace Region of Northern Alberta. The speedway opened in 1995 and every summer hosts several events from June to September. They have a strong field of local racers and draw drivers from all over Western Canada. The track currently has four local classes; Mini Sprints, Starter Stocks, Elite Street Stocks, and IMCA Modifieds. The speedway also hosts events with the Canadian Super Truck Series, and Street Stock Challenge Series, and is the home of the IMCA Super Nationals. The facility is fully accessible and provides great family-friendly entertainment. There is a concession stand, liquor booth, and promotional booth located on-site for all events.
