Whether you’re hunting for one-of-a-kind gifts, planning a family outing, or looking for an excuse to get out and explore, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the season around the Grande Prairie region.

Here are a few November holiday events to add to your calendar.

Shop Local and See the Northern Spirit Lightshow

The holiday lights are back at Evergreen Park. Take in the Northern Spirit Light Show on a wagon ride between 6 and 9 pm, or drive through from the comfort of your vehicle until 10 pm. The show runs November 13 to 15, 19 to 22 and 26 to 29, then nightly from December 3 to 24 and 26 to 31. Learn more about the Northern Spirit Light Show.

Looking for a reason to get a head start on your holiday shopping? Stop by the Hidden Gem Gift Shop at the Visitor Information Centre in Centre 2000, where you’ll find gifts that celebrate our region. Spend $10 or more (before tax) and you’ll receive two complimentary tickets to the light show, while supplies last. We have 10 pairs to give away, so don’t wait too long. Find a gift, bring a friend and make an evening of it.

2026 Lightshow Dates: November 13–15, 19–22, and 26–29; nightly December 3–24 and 26–31.
